Project is DONE.. car runs.. pics inside.. Well the SS fired up Wednesday night.. needs a little tuning due to the cam and larger injectors (used my MAFT to lean by 10% for now).. brakes are bled and fluids topped off.. nothing fell off during the test drive so I guess I did ok.. For performance I did the following:
TR220 114LSA cam
Comp 918 springs
Hardened push-rods
LS6 ported oil pump
Katech timing chain
LS6 Intake
30# siemens deka injectors
Remote air-cooled PS cooler
Custom made teflon lined PS lines
Custom made Carbon coated teflon lined AC lines
And here are the shiny things I did:
Its funny that with as much as I did that this pic dosent look much different.. hard to show the layers of detail I did..

Thanks for everyone putting up with my "progress report" posts and for giving me some of these ideas. Now I just need to tune it, clean it and finish the final detail stuff.. oh and install my new Q-tec cutout.

im sure it looks 1000% better in person as you can see a lot more of the details, but even in the pics it looks awesome. I wish i had the time/energy/money to tackle a project like that.

Usually its black but I ran out so the white one has to sever till I get down and get a new large black zip tie <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: Project is DONE.. car runs.. pics inside.. Do you think there's a way to hang the throttle cables from the cowl? It a shame to detract from your engine bay in anyway. The cowl may be too far from the passenger FRC to support them enough. Just a thought.
