Default Made engine bay covers

UPDATE: PCM cover on post #36

Got some spare 2024 T-3 and decided to make a couple of my own covers that i've seen on here before. My engine bay is dirty but I think the covers came out decent. I just simply cut them out with card board, made the appropriate trim cuts, bend radius, and rounded them off.

Then took the pieces of cardboard to work and sheared some aluminum to the shapes I wanted and applied the bends with our new metal break.

After cleaning and filing everything up, I scuffed them with a medium grade scotch brite, primed, and painted. Here they are!

No clearance issues...Any feedback??? Does it look tacky?

Looks clean, much like a vette engine bay. I like it. Maybe next make a cover for the washer fluid bottle area in front of the air intake?

Thanks! Always down for saving a dollar from time to time.

I'm actually going to repaint all that when I pull the front end off for paint when I get back from deployment. Gonna keep the windshield washer bottle in there though because I use it every so often. Clearnance might be a concern because of where the hood latch mechanism is.

Really wasn't hard at all. Made the bends from our new metal break at work based off my marks I made on the cardboard.

Home life was slow this week which so the opportunity was there
