scale of 1-10....about a 7.

you'll need to make all the cuts for the fitment if you dont buy them already done. If you buy them finished I'd lower it down to a 5. Then only the drivers side is a PITA.

You can buy them pre-cut. Is it Afterthoughts or WS6Store?

I found a set of these I'm trying to get... Exactly HOW big of a pain in the *** is it? What all's involved in cutting and installing?

Use the '97-98' covers with the two slots.
GM #12556455, Right Side Fuel Rail Cover
GM #12559261, Left Side Fuel Rail Cover

Find photos, start trimming until you get them to fit YOUR application.
A jigsaw or a die-grinder works wonders, ...

You may not have the AIR or EGR anymore, so you may get away with less cutting.

If you are going to fill the 'Corvette' lettering, you will have to grind out all the red paint from the letters in order to get your filler to adhere properly.
And use a good flexible filler. NOT your everyday 'bondo'.

Cut, sand, grind, sand, fill, sand, fill, sand, fill, sand, primer, sand, color, sand, decals, clearcoat, sand, polish, ..., Yes, there's a lot of work that goes into some nice set-ups!

Oh, I'd just leave 'Corvette' on them and repaint them after I trim
