Default To Polish or Powdercoat

So I have my new rims on, and want to clean up the looks of the calipers. I'm leaning towards polishing them, but also considering powdercoating. Just wanting to see what others opinions are and which direction they would go. Here's a couple pics of my car as it sits now.

Too many guys go through the black out thing and ruin a good looking car.
Just looking at those pics, I'd leave the wheels alone then maybe go ahead and paint your calipers.
Most guys go red or yellow depending on their paint job.
With those nice looking chromies I would clean em to bare metal; (still the best for heat dissipation), paint silver or a color real close to your body paint.
BTW, what rim type is that and by who.
I've not seen those around.
Car looks nice.
Do some mid level tint on the glass to finish her off.

Thanks for the input, those are the C6 Z06 wheels from OEWheels, a sponsor here on tech. The wheels are staying as they are, just wanting to do something different with the calipers so they look good sitting behind the wheels, lol.

Just go get a can of caliper paint. If you have to replace calipers it will hurt to know you spent a lot of time polishing them or spent the money to powercoat.

You can lift them off, mask around the wheel wells and spray them without even removing them from the car and having to bleed brakes. Or get the brush on paint...

I was going to say, my son did his calipers with a brush on kit and they look real nice.
The paint is holding up well.

I'm getting Dupli-Color paint if I do my calipers. Wouldn't mind G2 but they're too expensive.

2 coats of spray on caliper paint from advance auto, it was like $8. Barely used any of the can at all...

I'm actually getting another set of calipers to do whatever I'm going to do, take my time and do it right, then swap them out for the ones on the car now...

If your getting another set, I would sand down any casting marks. Weld up any indents and just smooth the whole thing out to look like a quality piece. Same with the brackets, then powder coat. Caliper red, bracket silver or black. You can add a decal to the caliper if there is room then they can clear over it so it will never come off. There is a vendor on one of my forums that can do all of the above if interested.

I just gotta say it.
After checking your wheels out.
You have a nice looking rig.
One thing that would make it better and wouldn't cost you money is......
Take the name brand sun shade thing off.
It pushes the car almost into the rice rig arena.
Just a light tint on the glass and a real nice clay bar job ala Meguiars will make her look like a million bucks.
Super classy. just saying...

i have a nice looking rig, but it's almost rice? are you referring to the letters across the windshield? not sure if that's what you are calling a sun shade thing or what, it's just lettering across the front. i think i've made my car original over the couple years i've owned it, but never thought of it as being ricey.......

Red Calipers,Black Bracket.. I've always been a big believer to match the caliper color to the color of the car.. It just seems to tie it in a lot nicer..

That's actually what I want to do but since I can't just pick up my color from the store I need to order them from G2 and will cost me 100 bucks It is worth it though and still thinking about it; NBM caliper, black or silver brackets, chrome decal to match the stainless inserts........GAME OVER.
