okay, nice day out so I took out the T/A and went to a few places and asked about getting the windows tinted, and if you have read my previous post about a week ago about the rear window in one piece, you know that was my main question for them..if they could do it in 1 piece, several said they could BUT they can't do it in 5% because it is too thick one said they could do 13% (i believe that was the #) and another said 20% any of you have it done in 5% ? can this really NOT be done?

I have a one-piece 5% rear on mine. The shop just ins't very good if they can't do it. Make sure they put a piece of vinyl over the dots on the back window. Or you can have that part not tinted then spray paint it. Otherwise, those dots are gonna be visible.

I guess I'll keep shopping around for a place that can do 5% in one piece..when I asked about the dots they all said they place vinyl over it..so thats a positive

20% one sheet on back dots still on, no bubbles,
you can not see the bubbles in the rearview.
I would ask to see other cars this shop has done,
all the really good ones will have no issue with these

Just spray paint the whole glass black like I did!. J/K I have 10% on the rear hatch glass, all one sheet. They told me I could have gotten darker, but I wanted 10% all around. I took my car to Artech here locally in Dallas. They did a very good job.
