Very nice so far, I would put the cover back on the radiator though, just ditch the factory labels.

Agreed. Now install a black STB with a red decal and that will look even better IMO. Nice work OP!

Are you going to be using the ugly stock radiator cover?

looks good, I don't like the red intake too much though. I just think it being plastic and spray painted makes it look a little cheap. Maybe if there was some more prep and a smoother finish. Either way it's a night and day difference. Good job

Looks great. Get rid of that crappy K&N all together and go for the SLP CAI. Comes painted black, and looks a whole lot meaner especially since it's not plastic.

*Not ragging, just a suggestion

The OP's car is an LT1. But a write up would be a good idea.

Thanks for all the replies, switching out the K@N is a great idea but just not practical for me right now, i have plenty of other areas that need some attention on the car.

Honeslty i dont believe a write up is necessary, all i did was hand clean everything throughout the process of my head gasket swap. Re painted all the shiny and tried something new. I am by far still a newbie with little funds, so with the help of a family member and tech, i just cleaned and painted.

Pancho your setup looks sick, looks orgainized which is what im going for.
