Default SLP-HO hood 98-02 mounting questions

Anybody that has one -
Any issues with struts? Any need to modify the hood latch or lever?
how well does the hood fit?

Struts are fine, you will have to bend the handle of the latch to make it work, i also had to cut a little off of the tounge of the latch. Hood fits fine, just don't heat lamp it.

so the stock struts are fine for the fiberglass hoods

Yep. I had no prblems with mine, other than bending the handle on the latch like Billy mentioned. Fitment was great. Good luck.

great news - the hood looks awesome and now the body shop should be happy too
