We can, because this material will take a bend very nicely. We have already done it.
We are just going to need to figure out a cost if we do it. The underhood stuff does take a lot of material, and with the cost of this stainless they will be a higher cost.
So, the answer is yes we can do it. We just need to get a cost and see how many are interested in them.
We are not making much on the material. We do however need to get the cost of it back. What we are really doing here is offering a new product line to increase sales, and still be fair with you guys on the cost. On the small pieces the increase of the material is reasonable.
For instance, we can use this stainless on the door sills. The only issue is it will raise the cost of the sills by over $100.00, because there is a lot of material there. That really is the truth. How many customers would want them at that increase? I am not sure. So that would likely only be a custom order.
This is very high quality exterior, field proven stainless. We do not get cheap stuff here.

If you really want something made please let me know. I can definitely get you a cost on it.

I think this would be kick *** looking on the Lighted Door Sills. Good looking stuff.

 

We have done the picture thing before.
There are three concerns:
1) We require high quality pictures, and large size. Then we can compress them for the website and forums to get very good clear quality images.
2) Most poeple want to send a cell phone picture, which is not the same as what we need to list a sale with.
3) When someone sends us a picture, whether we can use it or not: they feel that they are finished.

So if you agree that only "if" we use your picture, I am ok with it.
Please let me know. As a matter of fact I will do this for anyone who wants to send us any. They really need to be good pictures. The trick is to not use a cell phone. And I will admit I am also guilty of using my cell phone for pictures sometimes.

Some Premium Onyx Black mirror stainless rear Camaro letters installed.
Letters look a little bit grainy, because we could not keep the reflection from the road out of the letters.
I guess we need to find a smoother road.

We have been planning this for some time, and this material arrived on Friday. So, we will need some trime to reproduce all of our existing parts using this material, should not take us long.

However if you want something and it gets paid for, That places it at the front of the line.

The mirror SS sets are $69.99, These with the black stainless will be $89.99.
Again, the material cost is why. Still a good price.
Dealerships are getting $60.00 for "2" S's made from plastic.
