Default 93-96 Camaro Dash Pad Alternatives?

I have the inevitable cracked dash pad on my car, after this last removal the only thing holding it together is the felt backing. I was wondering, has anyone come across any good alternatives to the $250+ for a new one? What I would love is somethign actually more durable...like aluminum wrapped in vinyl or something, let me know if anyone has come across anything.

i threw mine away. but i plan to get another cracked one from a junkyard. they'll probably give it to me. then i'm gonna superglue it together and spray a thick texture paint on it. and epoxy underneith to keep it from cracking more.

Yeah my problem is, knowing my luck, I'd get that all situated and have forgotten to do somethign under there, and the first time I pull it I'd be back at square one, I can anver get this plastic stuff to repair and hold, like at all.
