Default Question for TAs with the Blazertech 3200s fog lamps.

How did you guys install the fog lamps when it comes to wiring? Did you just splice the stock ones with the better ones provided with the blazertechs?

Any issues like melting wires or other problems?

To my understanding, usually the stock wires are provided just good enough to handle the stock fogs, so if I was to upgrade would I have to re-wire the whole thing? Also splicing a larger wire to smaller one doesn't protect the smaller gauge wire from getting too hot.

Im confused here. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Also do the b.t. 3200 have a blue lens just like Cyberwhite ones that are available in wallmart?

This is actually really simple. When I did mine I took the old connector off of the original fog lamps and wiried it to the blazertechs, I. E. the wires that stick out from the piece of rubber housin on the back of the lamps themselves. This way you can hook em up to your stock wiring harnesses. I believe if you do a search at LS1.com there should be a post/write up about it. Have fun!

Oh yea, forgot to mention, what I meant by taking the original stock connector off, I mean breakin the light bulb off nicely so that you can crimp some female spade connectors to the prongs. They have to match up a certain way so finding that write up will help.
