The gm paint code is 408G, i'm using spi 2.1 clear. For the buffing after wetsanding i've been using m105 with a wool pad on a rotary followed up with m205 on a foam pad and finishing with menzerna super finish.

Finally got the intake resprayed, when i installed my billet fuel rails earlier i had a fuel leak and it bubbled the paint on two spots so i soda blasted the intake and started over.

Here's my take on the berger panel, i used the black pearl base and put a flattening agent in the clear so it has the satin look but when the sun hits it some of the flake will still show

You do some good work. It's nice to see an enthusiast make it happen through hard work and then share it all.

Great thread man! Been on the look out for mmm builds as I have so many ideas for mine but nice to see some things in reality. Though about a charcol color against our color but hadn't made my mind up. I really like to see your color choice of charcol absoultly beautiful and for sure has a touch of class when paired with mmm. Keep up the great work buddy.

Everything's turning out great man. I forgot to ask, what kind of gun(s) are you spraying with?

The engine bay and first paint of the intake i just used a cheap speedway series gun, primer has also been sprayed with the purple HF gun. For the base and clear on the body panels i'm using a Devilbiss plus 670.

Man that thang looks awesome. I was never really a fan of the C6 wheels on a camaro but with the right color and stance you pulled off nicely. I love the paint on the wiper cowl. Big props to you an awesome job!!! It looks killer!!!

I like the detail to the engine bay. I also like the valve covers, mine kinda look like that too

The paint is amazing. I love the detail, usually I don't like black wheels, but they look very good on that car.
