I use to have a suncoast creations hood and it was great quality and the air induction was noticable as far as hp performance.

Thanks, I. Checked them out, they look pretty legit, twice as much as vfn though... Anybody have an opinion if there worth it?

For you guys that are interested in LT1 SS hoods aftermarket you may want to look at Fiber Concepts. http://www.fiberpartsconcepts.com/. I literally just bought one from the owner who is very knowledgeable when it comes to SLP stuff. He was the production manager for a company that built the hoods for the first 1993 Firehawk. I'm local so I was able to pick it up when it was done but his shipping is reasonable.

I just put the hood on before it got dark out today and it fits like a glove. My brother and I left the bolts loose and I honestly couldn't believe the fit. I'll get some pictures up this weekend. Its fully functional and has a mesh screen in place. I bought an Slp ss grille for it though. I will soon do prepping and then its off to my friends paint booth.

Pics soon, not enough daylight this time of year!!!

Here are the pics, I got the hood to line up really well. Its going in for paint in 2 weeks. I cut the mesh grille piece out of the hood and trimmed the opening for the slp grille.
