Sorry if I was unclear. I was saying I was off topic for commenting on his sig.

Best of luck with your choice on HIDs. They look so much better than halogens

its all good man! but yess i had some nokya bulbs that looked kinda like HID's but normal halogens are brighter didnt notice till they burned out, but loved the look. its tough to see at night with all the dark back roads here in new jersey so HID's would def be a nice upgrade.

If you order from DDM, be prepared to wait up to a month! They're slow as hell!

how long it will take to get them can be very hit or miss, best to email them first...

certain times of the year they have them in stock stateside, others they have to import them from over seas

Did you guys lose your Hi beams when you connected your HIDs?

Do any of you have the "buzzing" problem that is sometimes mentioned?

No. You shouldn't lose your high beams. They are a separate harness.

And the buzzing only occurs for a minute or so as they warm up.

That's what I thought, but I've read some of the HID auctions on eBay state that you will lose your high beams. I was thinking, how could that be?

a lot of cars use one dual filament bulb for both the low and high beams. A lot of hid kits for those cars use halogen light for the high beam and HID for the low beam. i would assume that the ebay kits you are seeing just use a single HID bulb where it needs a dual filament bulb.

thats just my guess though

Ive put Xentec's in about 6 bikes (the owners wanted to go cheap) and every single one of them had to get incontact with the sellers in the first 3 months, bc one of the two ballasts went out (2 of the owners had 2 ballasts go out) they are total JUNK

Ive installed 2 pairs of DDM's (the non cheap individuals) and they are still going strong at over a year
Maybe it was all installer error.. My DDM's burnt out in less than 2 weeks. It is all the same **** just with a different name from China. I gave DDM a try now I'm giving XENTEC a try. Get off DDMs nuts.

Got Xentecs. Easy install. All plug and play, just connect the wires to appropriate connection.. So far got them going for 3 years already.
