Default HID Color

now i understand the housings for the fogs and the lows/highs are different but as you may can tell in the picture they're two different colors. i'm running 5000k. would a different temp in the fogs even out with the ones i'm running in my lows?

I don't understand what's going on here. Tell us what your light setup is.

Are they 5000k 's from the same company?? If so I have no idea?

The next question is do you prefer the more bright white color that your fogs are putting out or do you prefer the blue tint of the headlights? If you ordered from say DDM then there is a good chance that they gave you the wrong color temp, I wouldn't think they would look that much different.

yea they're both from ddm. i prefer mostly white, i've had them since early spring and haven't really paid too much attention to them being off until recently when some people have asked me about it and i would like them to match but unsure of what temp i should get to go along with the lows.

I just put 6000k in my car. But from some friends experience, the fogs tend to shine more blue than the low beams. Example, a 5000k fog will more than likely look like a 7-8000k.

So both your fogs and lows are 5000k correct? If that's the case I'd probably bump up the fogs to 6000k. Projectors seem to take away a little of the color of hids.

Good point Dabest, I didn't think about the fogs being projectors. I was talking more about a standard housing on a jeep or other suv.

A little off subject, but your car is gorgeous! I wasn't really a fan of NBM, but that picture just changed my mind.
