Default Tail lights on with the ambers on
So there was a 383 lt1 I seen at a meet that had his ambers on his tail lights running gave it a nice look. Didnt ask him how he did it but I'd like to do the same. Is it easy to do?

Ya you would need to get LT1 tails, pretty common and looks good.

Oh yeah didn't realize the ls1s don't have them. Is it easy to swap them to the lt1 style and have it functional as well

Oh wait they do but the lt1 style does look better

Am I missing something? LT1 Taillights are red and white.
Unless you're referring to 1997, which had the 3-color LS1 style lights.

they should fit, the only thing the lt1s dont have is the little bulb in the corners of the ls1 tails

97-02 LT/LS had the three section tails. Below 97 was the two section tails. If it was a LT, then yeah he/she swapped out tails with some LS tails.
