SWEEET!!! Looks good. I agree with everyone else on the WW grille. Chrome ZO6 wheels would make it look even better.

My older brother used to work with Pat Maxwell many moons ago. Its a small world. I didn't think Maxwell designs were still around! I have seen there work in person and it is top notch.

I too think a billit grill would look really good with the silver touch on the nose of your car.

How would the Weld Pro Star XP's look on my car? I was told that would be the lightest wheel I could find in a 17. Anyone have these on their car? I would like to see some pictures.

Saw your car this past weekend and it looks pretty duyum nice eventhough it was at night. I agree with lettin go of those konig monsoons. Those things are just hideous. My vote goes with the WW grille and 18" Y2K Vette wheels or maybe some silver ZR1s

Draglite "XP" wheels are heavier than stock wheels. The XP wheels are more for appearance instead of lightweight performance. If you want some lightweight wheels, look for some forged wheels. SSR or Fikse are good examples. I think the SSR GT3 in 18s would rock on that car. You need a wheel that can keep up with the flames:

SSR GT3

Or, some Fikse Profil5 wheels

Definitely the color matched WW grill!

I agree that the pics don't do the car justice. You need a side view as well or at more of an angle, the flames on the side of the doors are darker and can't be seen in that pic. Definitely looks awesome!
I am a fan of the Fiske wheels, don't know what they weight? I might be willing to sell my ZR-1 rims to help fund some Fiskes if you are interested in the ZR-1s. The stamped rims (drag lights, etc.) are the lightest, but look cheap in my opinion because they are stamped. OK for the track as spares. But some people like the looks, guess that's why we are all individuals.
I also do not like the billet grille because it doesn't meet the corners very well and looks added on. The wings west grill or SLP grille can be painted to match and looks more like it belongs, has that custom look. But at the end of the day, it's your car and your money.
Say hello to Brian for me.

The guy that did the flames on the other hand did a wonderful job. Pat Maxwell has been doing graphics for over 25 years. Maxwell's prices are a bit high but the work he does is outstanding and well worth it! If you are looking for graphics, I highly suggest talking to him.

I vote for the wings west color matched grill too... and GOOD JOB on the hood change. I think the 4" cowl is just to much but that 2" looks VERY nice. As for rims... I don't know. Check out some cheapo (like under $200 each rims). You'd be surprised how light some are... mostly because they're not very strong... haha

Dean,

Thanks for the compliments. I am going to find a good place in the area to take some more pictures of the entire car. I was just going to wait until after I got the grill to do so.
I might be interested in the ZR1's.. Do you have any pictures of them and what size are they? I just got brand new tires so I want to make sure they are going to fit.

The Zr-1s are the rims that came on my car. I don't have a good pic, but you can go to www.3rdgendecals.com/CustomerPages/DeanB
and the last pic has my rims in it. They are the painted siver rims with the SS logo on the center cap. They are the same size front and rear. I am running Goodyear Eagle F1s , 275/40/zr17 in the front and Nitto Dr 555s, 275/40/17 in the rear. I think you need a wider rim in the rear to run 315s. But my 275s are sticking good when their warm.
Also I have a new digital camera that takes good pics if you want to use that before paying someone. I think it is a 3.5 megapixel camera.

oops, try this www.3rdgendecals.com/CustomerPages/DeanB.htm
Sorry, it not a good pic for the rims. I will have to take one from the side or you can come look at them and even park your car next to mine to get an idea.
