Modernizing T/A interior? (PICS)

The thing about about paying for a custom interior is that even tho it costs a grand or two, people will go out and buy a new car for what, 10, 15, 20+ thousand for an update. If your f body is what you like put a few grand in it and enjoy it forever!
The TA interior isn't bad either. I put the dash and door panels in my camaro and I love it. I also wrapped the top dash piece, door panels, pillars and painted the dash and trim rings, double din stereo/nav, 6le seats (with heaters!), dyed my carpet black and I love it. I still have a few things to finish but its the next best thing to a new car and I did it myself so not a lot of cost just time!

And here are some examples from a quick Google search for Ferrari/Aston Martin/Lambo interiors....
As you can see these higher end cars establish a theme, select quality materials, and utilize them to a degree that establishes a 'classy' look and not too 'over-done'. Mind you, these examples will not be for everyone, but that is the beauty of the hobby. You are able to express yourself and make your own statement.

looks good but a bit too plain and gawdy IMO.
my current plans shot that I`ll be going with a two-tone interior , keeping it subtle and modern looking instead of overdone ..
I think we`ve seen some great examples so its time we add our taste in there and do something unique

They're from a JL Audio demo car. Completely custom built. Looks like they started with the stock door panel, cut a lot of the innards out, fab'd a new frame, and then laid glass on it, followed by vinyl wrapping. (and spliced in the c5 window switches). But overall, similar to how you'd see a custom speaker box built.

To modernize the vents, paint the cups and the little sliding **** pewter or silver. Did it on my '02 bird with Ebony interior and it looks amazing! I'm on my iPhone so sorry, can't add a pic but I did put some up in the "What did you do to your firebird today" thread in the firebird section...if anyone wanted to look em up and post the link or the pics here..

Here is a direct link to Swiat34's post about the vents:
