I'm going to jump in with a Welcome to the site since you just joined.

What PontiacFan was trying to say is while you may have many questions, they've probably been covered in some form or fashion. The "SEARCH" feature in each section can help with faster results usually.

Again, welcome to the site.

Klemon _ Welcome also!

I'm in the process of doing mine also. I acquired a set of GTO fuel rail covers and modified them to fit my LS2 with LS1 accessories. I had to cut, section, bond, glass, fit to intake, sand, prime, sand and final paint which I have not done yet.

Your engine bay looks really good! I've always liked the GTO covers more than the Vettes. Its gonna look a lot better once you finish it.

What did you have to do to adapt the LS2 to LS1? I have a LS3 and might like to do the same.

Welcome OP. You could always have badges made to cover the Corvette or GTO names like I did.

The left side has to be cut and shortened in order to clear the power steering pump and the ball mounts have to relocated. You will also need to resculpt some of the foward runner openings in order to fit. Don't worry about screwing-up, that is what they make filler for!

Also, use a good fiber impregnated filler like DuraGlas when doing any filling or patching.

Here are some pics of the backside which by the way, need to be cleaned-up yet.

The mount on the passenger side needs to be reworked to lower the cover

That is way CLEAN! I probably wont have to shorten it cause it's in my IMPALA and I have MARCH pulleys. Where can I get a set of the GTO covers?

Thanks guys!

I found mine on E-bay. But I have also seen some on LS2 forums and GTO sites.

Good Luck!
