My goal was to have an overlay that would mimic the 'flop' that you see with the Mitsubishi Sunset Pearl on the newer Eclipse's as that's the color that my '98 is going to be painted.
Here are a couple of pics of the final product Brian made for me last year. He was very patient and helpful with the design, it turned out exactly how I wanted it to! As you can see in the proof that he sent me, the colors appeared much brighter but he said that once it went to print, it would match what we'd wanted it to look like.
I held the overlay up to a natural light lamp to try and give an idea of what the overlay will look like at night, he did a great job of manipulating the layers so that the light fades out toward the ends of the overlay. I'm hoping to finally install it within the next month or so. After having the body pulled last year, the project was pushed to the side for quite a while. I'm finally getting back in to it so I ordered the tires and wheels this past week and the hood will be ordered once I heard back from Jeanie at VFN!

Here's my final proofs. Going with Sample B. Gradient starts as a Grey that matches Firehawk logos on door and fades to a silver. I'm changing the "I dot" on my door logos to red instead of the factory purple/pink, which inspired the red outline and logo which will also match suspension pieces. Then integrate the front bird as well.

"Pics of the Firehawk logos on door"... i dont get it, and it my head doesn't sound right..... you have stickers on your door??
