Default Installing racing seats in my 01 firebird

Christmas rolled around and I needed to give myself a present so I went a head and bought a set of JDM black leather red stitched racing seats only to find out they didn't come with mounting brackets -_- looking online I can't even find any that look right for my car. The offset of the bolts to the floor make it hard to just make my own extension piece also so I'm hoping someone else out there has had the same issue and solved it! Let me know ASAP please!

True because only professional fabricators own a drill and die grinder

Shut up juanito, you shouldn't play with tools because you can hurt yourself.

Great writeup first of all. My only problem is the width between the stock rails and the width between the racing seat bolts are exactly the same in the front and only 1/4 different in the back so I don't have the luxury of being able to drill holes in the plates to the outside of the stock rails. The only way would be to drill thru the rail and unless there's some way of separating the top and bottom portion of the rail I have no way of getting a wrench in there to tighten the bolts or even get the bolts in there in the first place. This is killing me...

No, its definitely do able.
I ran into same problem but found a way to make it work once the stock rails were out of the car. My seats still slide back/forth like stocks seats.

I 'll take a picture of my seats this weekend and post here.
