So I wanted darker tint one day when I had bought my 01 Z28 from an old neighbor... he had orginally put 15% on it... too light for me... so, I really had liked my friends G35 coupe with 5% all around and 50% on the windsheild, so I headed on over to the Tint place. I asked them how to get 5% with an an already 15% on it... and he said another layer of 15% would do the trick!

Several years later I got pulled over making an illegal turn (keep in mind, not once have I ever been pulled over for my tint in South FL or TN)... and the last statement out of the Female Officers mouth was "Dang Son, how dark is your tint?" As she headed on over to her car to get her tint reader... when she returned I replied "I think it is 5% Ma'am, or at least that is what the Tint shop told me"........ I stopped and starred at the reader in shock as both our jaws dropped in awe.... lol....

15% on top of 15%= 2% tint!!!

The Officer replied "get your tint changed kid" lol...

A lil too dark for me, but always lived in the City up until TN... too dark for the Country...

Dont know what percentage I want on my SS yet... 15-30 will be the range though lol

 

Lol it illegal here i just dont get caught same as street racing lol. With 5% on back and 30% on the sides its hard to back out at night. I have to have some one help lol. Was the officer hot?

 

I always had to roll my windows down while backing up at night... eh, she was alright lol

It =2% because if it only lets in 15% light then multiply that by 15% of 15 its 2.25% tint. Thats how you figure tint

^dont do that cme looks better than any dual tip setup, it would be a down grade imo

 

I'm getting tired of it.

Thats a good man right there!! Besides, CME is one of the rarest exhaust setups out on the Market right now... since that SLP did away with Em!

I LOVE mine, BUT! If you were to sell them, you wouldn't have a hard time selling them at least... and could probably make a big profit off of them if you sold it to the right person.... some people would die just to have those... better selling em to some one who would appreciate em a lot more! Haha i'd be interested in seeing those go up for sale in an Auciton on Ebay or even on this site!
