thanks for all the compliments.
no big deal on the badges. We all have cars to do what WE want to them. lol not what other people think we should do to them.

and they are just 3/4" spacers i got from summit. I have arp studs too. stock studs would be too short.

Your car look great, very clean. I'm glad you are concerned with wheel fitment. It makes a huge difference in the way a car looks

Man to be honest I'm not sure. I know u can pull the stock studs without pullin the axles but I'm not sure if u can put the arp studs back in cause they are longer. I bought the rearend and it already had arp studs in it.

I believe to change the studs you dont need to take the axles out, im pretty sure there is a access hole in the back for this specific purpose, atleast it did on my old 3.8 when the shop broke my lug taking off my wheels (idiots) i didnt want them even trying to replace it so I did it myself. It was a bitch to knock them out and get the new ones in tho, maybe try to use a little bit of penetrating oil before trying to knock em out with a rubber mallet or hammer, id use a wood block to protect the axle , also i cant remember if I took off the caliper or not.

I like it but lose the SS badges because it's not a SS and get some custom Z28 badges and be proud that it's a Z28. I'm not really digging the black wheels though... seems too dark - maybe gunmetal or even a black chrome?

The car had the hood and spoiler on it when I bought it. It's not that I'm not proud to have a z28. But it looks funny with z28 badges with a ss spoiler and hood.

Doesnt look funny man lol... Trade the hood for a cowl hood then it may look less clone-ish.

I agree with this. SS emblems are just plain better looking. even nice aftermarket z28 emblems have that look as clean and niice as SS ones.

SS Badges don't bother me on V8 Cars as long as when selling it, you don't falsify it as in SS when you know its a Z28...

On that note I have an OEM WS6 badge that's never been used...if I can only find someone looking to clone a WS6!!! LOL

^^^^
what he said. I have oem spoiler on my z oem ss anniversary wheels coming and a oem ss hood to be picked up soon. I will put ss emblems on mine but when the time comes to be sold for a vette (next year) I will probably sell it completely stock and if someone wants the ss stuff then I have no problem disclosing its a z. For me I already have a 2 owner car that I literally know everything about so I would rather spend more to mod mine than go through the trouble of finding a equally nice low mileage ss.

Funny how all you people get bent out of shape about
SS emblems on Z's, when in fact all your SS's started out as Z's
