I really like having white LEDs in my reverse lights. Looks clean.

It's just really hard to get a good pic of them.. They are 32 LED 3156 bulbs.

I have some in mine, but its not really something that is seen or anything...i might be in reverse less than 1% of the time. I only did it cuz I tried them out in the drl's and didn't like the hyper white look up front.

Yeah ive thought about getting them, how much brighter are they than stock? It's pretty nice to see behind you when your backing up lol I always thought stock were good enough most of the time though..

Mine aren't as BRIGHT I'd say, but it definitely catches the eye a lot more. If you want light intensity, you are going to need to step up to 40-50+ LED bulbs. My pics are 32 LED bulbs.

I have 50watt Halogen bulbs in my reverse lights. They are definitely brighter than stock.

It was a drop-in replacement that used to be available at Pep Boys.

Ive seen on ebay...
68 count LED replacements for about $17/pair
80 count LED replacements for about $26/pair
13Watt (13 LED) LED replacements for about $27/pair
5Watt (1 LED) LED replacements for about $32/pair

Just need to look around and decide how much you want to pay. Also, the type of LED comes into play and not just the number of them.

Stock filament bulbs give more usable light than LEDs and the 50 Watt halogen ones VIP mentioned are brighter, but actually warped my lens when I had them on for only about 10 seconds!

The higher the wattage of the LED, the more usable light you will get. V-leds.com has the BRIGHTEST reverse lights available (5K color temp 7 watt 3157 bulbs) hands down, BUT they are very expensive ($80 a pair), which is what I use. I have tried the ones on ebay in the links above. They basically yield the same usable light regardless of how many SMDs are on each bulb.

The first three choices on this page will be brighter than anything you will find on ebay b/c the wattage is higher..
http://autolumination.com/3157_3156.htm

V-led bulbs I'm referring too, THE BEST:
http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED-B...49833-1-2.html

Here's some pics of the EBAY ones (they are 5050 SMDs with about 30 SMDs on each bulb, so they are just as bright as the ones posted in the links and that Hollo posted) My V-led ones are definitely brighter than these old ones, which are lying around in my garage along with some other ebay ones if anyone is interested....
