heat gun is not needed, put in on a cookie sheet or something and keep an eye on them, i had to leave mine in there awhile , follow a write up and dont worry about it , it is pretty easy to do, i suck at stuff like that and mine came out perfect
then you really shouldnt be saying anything at all, follow whistlers write up and your good to go,there is a list of everything you need, what kind of paint/silicone to use ect.
and remember that when you pull them out of the oven they will be pretty hot, use a oven mit so you dont burn your hand of play hot potato with a headlight, also becareful and gentle working the lens off, i used a butter knife , if its still hard to get it off put back in the oven a lil longer, and try to put the masking tape on very light , it will peel the reflective stuff off, what i did was cut out some newspaper and used as lil tape as possible, you can use alot of tape just dont press it on really hard, just get it to stick a lil,
ide just get some high temp engine enamel (you can get it at any car store) but then again ive never done this mod lol

LoL bob is correct though. Thats great that you've opened lits of motorcycle lights and all, but these are camaro headlights and if they are stock, are plenty easy to open and the lenses do not melt. I have whistlered around 10 sets of oem, and halos for me and my friends. The oven is the absolute easiest and there is no way to damage them if you do what bob said.
