Stock Interiors carpet, horrible fitment So, after many months of it sitting, I finally got around to trying to install my stockinteriors.com replacement F-body carpet. And I have to say, it fits absolutely terrible. I have yet to cut it, but I feel there is no way this will fit close to the floor after cutting.
There is a huge gap between the carpet and floor in the rear bucket seat area, as if it's too short to fit snug. The tranny tunnel area near the front seat rear mount studs seems too long, and it will be bubbled . Not to mention all the other small creases that don't seem to line up with the floor.
I have not cut it, because I might try to get my money back after this disappointment. Mind you, I am a little on the picky side, I don't want lumps or creases in my new carpet. I wanted it to look STOCK (just like in the brand name). I may just try and recover my old one. Has anyone else had a bad experience with this carpet?
