Sunoco Hood Fitment
Who else's Sunoco hood fits like ******' garbage... With the rubber seal installed that goes along the wiper cowl plastic piece it makes it even worse. I've had to modify the hinges somewhat and it still doesn't sit low in the rear of the hood.
We'll throw one of these in here too just cause..

Mine fit good but i have the pin on version, have you tried adjusting the fender up on the back edge, there is a little play there and it shouldnt mess up the alignment with the door.

Did you elongate the actual hood hinge bolt holes where the bracket that attaches to the hood actually meets the hinge? Elongating these holes allows you to adjust things so the hood can sit flush in the rear. My VFN hood fit better than any other fiberglass hood Ive dealt with.

The holes I elongated were on the hinge where it meets the fender so it could sit lower pulling the hood down with it. Also I bent up the slots on each hinge where it acts as a stopper. They can be bent more but I'd like to try something different first. So Aaron your saying elongate the holes on the hinge where it meets the bottom of the hood will help it? Or where that portion attaches to the main section of the hinge? (hope that makes sense)

That's exactly how mine was when I first installed. Like Aaron said elongating the holes on the hinge (yes, hood side) will allow the rear to come down.
Here's how mine was for reference, now fits near perfict.

There is a video somewhere on youtube on how to install a vfn hood. I used that as a reference and I got it close to perfect. Took a little time but take your time and it will fit like a glove.

Don't worry about it man, just gotta mess with it a little more and it'll sit great. Just make sure your fenders and everything are covered, if you nick the hood you're gonna hate yourself lol. Ask how I know
1:10 - 1:45 is what you need to open up so the back of the hood will sit lower, the hinge is pushing it up above your fender right now.
