Default Couple pics of my new beauty items...

I installed a few working gauges into the T/A vents, all Autometer I am really liking the fact that unlike the factory gauges these work. My A/F ratio is rich when the car is running inside the garage.

My wife got me some valve covers for my birthday and since my MSD wires were going to be a little short, I purchased some Taylor 409s. Holy crap I didnt really think 10.4mm was going to be so big for a plug wire. I also made a plate for the stock battery mount.

Default Why?

Very interesting steering wheel for a 4th gen. But, I just don't understand why anyone would want to remove their airbag.
To each his own I suppose.

Drifting, autocross, drag, or some people just don't like the feel of the stock wheel.

How do you like that intake dude, any gains?

Having a high power explosive device that close to my face just didnt work for me.

Nice lookin valve covers.

What coils are those? I thought MSD, but they look a little different.

That's a 2nd gen Firebird steering wheel, IIRC.

Seatbelts do most of the work keeping you safe in a crash. They don't call airbags a "supplemental restraint system" for nothing. I swapped to an aftermarket steering wheel, but left the passenger side airbag intact and operational. If I get into a crash by myself, that's my problem. If I have a passenger in the car though, I want them to be as safe as possible.

So, you care more about your passenger than yourself. Very nice of you.

Holy Crap, The steering wheel is dirrectly out of a 1976 S/E Trans Am. I hated the stock steering wheel, big heavy, and ugly to look at. As for the airbag, not that big of a deal to me personally. If my car is in an accident I better end up dead, if not Im going to destroy the dumbass' soul that caused the accident.

To be honest that steering wheel is so nice to drive with, I wouldnt change it out for anything.

The catch can is a modified ebay unit, I added some down tubes inside the can and a filter that goes about halfway down inside the can. It works quite well and only cost $10 shipped.

The coils are painted truck coils, but they didnt want to fit with my STB so I think the paint might be getting stripped. I had to do some cutting/grinding on the brackets.

We ran into a paint issue and had to repaint the coils. Hopefully the rest of my stainless steel hardware should be in tomorrow as well.
