Rich,

Love the car man! I'm just a fan of ALL BLACK wheels. And i think it would look killer that way like mine! Just my $.02.

I originally had my eye on the black C6 Z06's with red lip but I could NEVER find the sizes I wanted in stock after waiting for about a year lol. Ended up going w/ these since it's rare to find them on an F-body for some reason, most others go with the one that has a polished lip as well. I did come across a vendor at AF that hydrodip's and is based very near where I live. I'd thought about having the machined spokes carbon fiber dipped but still just daydreaming at this point Also trying to think of something creative to do with the diffuser.

I still have the PHK decal to put on, just ran out of time before AF. I'll be sure to get some pics for you once I figure out a good spot for it!

With the spacers did you have to grind the studs down to fit the wheel over them? What brand are they

I prefer the black with machined details, although I have always loved your car Sommer!

I did have to cut the non-threaded part of the studs for the wheels to fit flush. I drove around a bit before trimming and the rear wheels wobbled like a s.o.b. All was well once they were cut, very easy job and didn't affect the threads at all. They are hub centric billet adapters from an EBay seller, no info on actual manufacturer.

Thanks to everyone else... It feels pretty awesome to look at your own car and think 'Damn, that's a bad *** car!'. I'm sure I'm not the only one here that's done that!

Can't wait to get some free time to finalize the hood install and get some better pics. Just in case anyone is interested... It's 35% tint all around with the front stock springs cut 1.5 coils and the rear isolators removed with untouched rear springs. Still have DeCarbons at the moment which honestly ride just fine for me but I'm really tempted to get in on the Koni sale with BMR springs.

Love your car, man. Looks great, not even considering the miles! I'm looking into getting a VFN hood this summer (just the plain jane WS6 for me most likely) and I'm glad things went well with then. I can't wait to see those flared nostrils on my bird

edit: You mentioned 6LE stuff, what did you get from them? I'm thinking of getting the houndstooth sometime.

Thanks! You'll be happy with VFN, post up pics after you get it on!

The 6LE items are the front diffuser with beveled edge and the tribal flaming chicken overlay.

Car looks really good! Especially for 250k. I love the rolling shots. I see you are from the NC area. Have you gone to the Dragon before?

I see that you have VT listed as your home, I'm from that area. Used to be a member of CCVT, the little pic you see below my username w/ my old black '99 T/A was taken on campus for a calendar shoot some sorority was doing for 'charity'.

I haven't been on it w/ my car but I've driven it a few times. Lot's of fun! Things get a bit crazy when you have crotch rockets passing you in blind turns doing 100mph hah.

That will fit perfectly! Yea the Dragon is nuts. I'll be out there again this summer. If you are cautious and drive like you know the road is insane and don't think you are top **** and can do whatever you want you will be fine.

I gotta say, im REALLY thinking about getting the machined Z06 wheels now since i see them on a Fbody, i bet they would look super killer on my black WS6! I had my eye on polished Z06 wheels from OEWheels LLC but now...you might have my rethinking that choice now lol Car looks killer keep it up!!!!!! Think you could pull the front wheels out a little bit more? They still look like they are sunk in a little even with the 1/4 inch spacers, might be just me though......Just my .02
