Should I remove the body molding on the side of car or not. Opinions welcome

Yes and you wont get one person that will say keep them, took mine off today such an improvement, take them off, the end

Take it off it improves the body lines.

You will wonder why you didn't do it sooner.

Just make sure its warm where you live so the glue on the tape is softer.

Thanks for the tips, and advise everyone.... just gotta watch on in the parking lots but well worth it in the end

The side moldings don't protect you from ****, it's the quarter panels that get fucked up with door dings.

I never parked close when I had them on the car so there wasn't any change in parking habits for me.

Ive thought about taking mine off for a long time now, but if you took the side moldings off, would you guys suggest taking the "Trans Am" emblem off the door? I was thinking about taking the side moldings off, but leaving the "Trans Am" emblem on the door, but im afraid it will look kind of out of place.

when i bought my car it had the side moldings on it. didnt even realize till a friend with a red ws6 pointed it out. his had moldings. i liked the no molding look way better. remove them

again I say a MUSCEL car shouldn't have some BS side molding on it. It takes away from the look of the car IMO
