Default VHT niteshades and clearcoat shelf life?

I have a half can of VHT left from a couple years ago when I tinted my tails on my old Camaro. I want to do the same to my new one, but I'm not sure if the stuff expires in the can or not, or for how long.

Probably safer to just buy a new can, but I thought I'd ask first anyway.

Don't know for sure but i doubt it. You could always spray it on something else first and test it out too

I just used some spray paint i've had for over 5 years and it still worked fine, It should not be a problem.

My personal experience is that if its half a can and been sitting it didn't work to great. I did this on my truck and seemed no matter what i did i couldn't get it smooth. Always left crack like lines on the lense. bought a new can started over and was fine. just what happened to me not sure its what happens in all cases tho.
