For drying, I like to use the big "professional" towel from Wally world. Its got short grey strands on one side and the other side is light blue with long strands. It works great for $6 and is super soft/plush. I've heard good things about the Sasquatch towels, but they are expensive when mine does a great job. Like I said, it's about how you take care of them and use them.

I searched the detailing forums with this question and a lot of people recommended Pakshak microfibers. Thinking of picking some up for myself.

I haven't tried them yet. Are they really that soft and scratch free? The ones I get from autopia car-care are pretty soft and scratch free.
I do use Zaino products and am willing to give their microfiber towels a try in that case.

http://www.chemicalguys.com/FLUFFER_.../mic_997_6.htm

While I've never tried the costco/walmart/etc microfiber towels, I have a hard time believing they are better quality than these. At $2/towel, this is a tough deal to beat. I have about 30 of them and they're fantastic all around towels. Washed many of them 50+ times and they haven't missed a beat.

The thing that makes me like chemical guys MF's so much is the fact after washes they stay the same I have so many that start getting nasty and hard, and they are so soft and cheap

Is shipping still $9 if you buy like 25 towels? That's a good deal

Yes I bought a bunch of stuff and shipping was the same. I'm guessing they charge you for the package and you can fill it how ever you want.

On another note. Do you guys use the microfiber detergent when you wash them? All the detailing sites make it out like if you use regular wash your slowly ruining them. Is this overplayed a little bit or good advice?
