They sell the brush kits at advance and places like that as well as the spray on. Its in a box.

When I sprayed mine I taped off the inner wheel well completely and covered the outside of my car as well in a big sheet of plastic. But I'm super paranoid of over spray. I was painting mine red so I thought any over spray would really stand out as well. There is a how-to out there as well if your antsy about it.

OP, just curious but why do you prefer brushing over spraying?

x2, I used magazine paper.

And no specific reason, I just rather test my painting skills then spraying lol.

This a million times over. I have yet to do it to mine cause this or that happens and it takes my attention away from little stuff like that but I'm hopefully gonna have another vehicle to drive before long and when I do, my Camaro is getting parked and I'm going through the whole car.

Looks good OP. Clean and simple.

I sprayed mine with the caliper on. Just mask it off right it will look good.

Actually the hardest part of the whole thing is getting them clean if they have never been cleaned before. Mine painted fine. But on another car that I painted the calipers on I cleaned and cleaned and the paint was still wanting to fish eye. I went through 2 cans brake parts cleaner before I got them clean enough to cover.

Here are mine, I didn't clear mine.

i also painted mine with that dupli color kit. i wish they sold just the actual paint. and not the kit. i didnt use the brake cleaner that comes with it. and the supplied brush is crap. i used some of the foam brushes used for painting corners from home depot. the brush was leaving bristles behind.
the paint cured and it looks like a plastic coat. i reaaly like the finish. but next time i will just get the paint can. not the kit.

x2, Ya man I didn't use the brake cleaner that came with it either, I tried it for a second and just threw it away and the brush was DISGUSTING, I only used it for the hard to reach spots and still left annoying bristles behind, I bought real brushes from home depot cause I knew the ones that it came with were junk.

Great job man - the decals are a nice touch. I did mine a royal blue - wish I would have done the decal.

Thanks man. I wouldn't have done it without the decals, it gives it the ultimate touch.

I'm glad you did it black, imo (no offense to the ones that like it) red and blue are overplayed and tacky with some definite exceptions.. Subtle colors look so much better i think.

Ya, I did it to match the SS emblems and chrome decal to match my stainless inserts. I originally wanted to go with NBM custom from G2 but think it's a bit too expensive just for caliper paint and I was still alittle skeptical on how it would look so went for this "simple" and subtle look lol, it's sooooo much better in person, I can't stop staring at it when I'm walking towards the car lol, I'm real glad I clear coated them as well.
