Please take the plasti dip off the headlights area. Looks like someone gave it black eyes.

The taping wasn't that bad, just had to keep checking distances to try and get them even, since there aren't exactly clear lines to follow in our fog light area. The hardest part for the fogs was taping off the slanted lines toward the center.

Lol to each their own fellas, that's why use plastidip and not paint. Cheap and removeable.

I'm still not sure about the headlights, those probably will come back off, because I thought the same thing about the black eyes. Just did them as a test because the can wasn't empty.

Anyone having trouble peeling tape and it taking the dip with it should peel the tape after your last coat while its still wet,if there is nothing to break the dip/seperate it, it will just bond to whatever, also use good 3mtape, so you wont get bleed threw, sorry about all the post just trying to clear up my last 2 comments,

OMG!! OP----> That looks phenomenal! I like how you Plasti-Dipped the fog lamp area. Kinda makes it look more aggressive. I can't imagine this being overly difficult to do or to touch up. In a local forum, someone did this to their Chrome Rims. When he went to sell them the Plasti-Dip actually saved the chrome from chips, minor dings and such. They looked really good...I mean, almost flawless. So, this is actually protecting your wheels, while making them look good-plus it's easily removed! Worth the investment!

Had my wheels done for about a year and held up great. I want to do the front grille like that but with a newborn hard to find time. I like the dogs and headlights too. Just gives it a different look. I peeled the wheels off for a change but did the Berger panel same time and not a mark on it

thanks! i like the fogs done because it helps take away from the catfish look in my opinion. and the1theycallthe1 the best part about this stuff is if you dont like it you can peel it right off.

How long do you let the paint sit after last coat before you take the tape off a masked area? I figure u let it sit to long it would stick together and removing tape would pull all the plasti dip off. I figure best to pull tape off before it dries? But how long exactly do you guys normally wait.

Looks good, I like the fog area. I might have to use this stuff behind the stock grille area, just never wanted to pull the trigger with real paint. How long after you sprayed the wheels was the pasti-dip set and ready to drive?

usually i tear it all off right after i see ive got a good coat on the part i just painted, as long as you keep it wet by spraying sort of continuously. just light coats, usually dries pretty fast, as soon as you feel its dry to the touch you can drive on it. at least thats what has worked for me
