Im not sure why someone hasnt made one that goes by the rear passengers feet...
The 1 vehicle I had harnesses in we just bolted them to the floor boards with supports behind the seats.

but the only bolts for the supports for behind the seats are where the rear seatbelts are bolted in. and there isnt a place to bolt to the rear floor by the passenger seats so your idea would never work. there was one that bolted where the sailpanel speakers were but in a rollover, it would be rendered useless and the seatbelts would no longer be tight

Basically the harnesses are pulling down onto your body...verse back towards the seat.

firstly, NO no one should sit in the back seats when there is a harness bar in front of you, doesnt matter what kind of padding you have, dont do it.
secondly, the reason you dont mount the harness the the floor behind you is due to the guaranteed spinal compression/severe injury/life long pain that will be incured when/if you get into a wreck.
