Default Racing seat harness bar

Is anyone able to still use their backseats with a harness bar installed?

depends.. if you get the 6LE, you bolt it where the rear seatbelts go. i still wouldnt sit back there because if you get in an accident, you will get a face full of a metal bar

Im not sure why someone hasnt made one that goes by the rear passengers feet...

The 1 vehicle I had harnesses in we just bolted them to the floor boards with supports behind the seats.

but the only bolts for the supports for behind the seats are where the rear seatbelts are bolted in. and there isnt a place to bolt to the rear floor by the passenger seats so your idea would never work. there was one that bolted where the sailpanel speakers were but in a rollover, it would be rendered useless and the seatbelts would no longer be tight

Because, you can cause some serious back problems if you were to get into a wreck. It will compress the spine and could really injure your back...or even worse put you in a wheelchair.

Basically the harnesses are pulling down onto your body...verse back towards the seat.

firstly, NO no one should sit in the back seats when there is a harness bar in front of you, doesnt matter what kind of padding you have, dont do it.

secondly, the reason you dont mount the harness the the floor behind you is due to the guaranteed spinal compression/severe injury/life long pain that will be incured when/if you get into a wreck.

Lg use to make them. Theirs were tiny and wouldn't have space for anyone in the back seat
6le makes them , they are rather large and bulky looking
