should i tint my tails? POST PICS!
i have a 01 red ss and trying to come up with some exterior mods. The car is in excellent shape. I havent seen really seen any red camaros with tinted tails. I love the stock look but would like to possibly do a few exterior mods. Just trying to see a few pics of red camaros with tinted tails. So if you have one please post pics!!

I like a slight tint but im not a fan of dark tinted tails, op if you plan on the berger panel dark tails is a bit much, but i would go tinted lights with the black camaro fill ins

I found some super clean OEM tails with all new bulbs. I love the way the rear of my car looks with perfect lighting and a SS Spoiler.
Depends on the cars color IMO. A white car with tinted tails looks ****. Black cars....too much IMO.

stevesfbody- i think that just made my decision. looks great on a red ss
xxcoolrollinxx- i live in kokomo. Where are you?
i do not plane on doing a berger panel black. im just not a big fan of it. I dont dislike it. Just like bob99ss said i think it will be to much with tinted tails.

It isn't red (obviously) but here's a shot of my old 98 v6 a few years back with tinted but not blacked out tails. I think it came out OK, and less of a chance of issues from the police as the color is still visible. I had cops behind me on more than one occasion (no not pulled over ) and never an issue.
Ignore the stupid skinny tires on that car... 215 LOL.
If I had a red car I'd almost lean towards getting 93-97 tails and leaving them red. The red on red would blend in somewhat and I think it looks good that way. Same with the side markers, I'd leave them too.

Is that a OEM SS spoiler off a LS1 Camaro? Looks kind of raised.... Might just be the paint haha

I dyed my amber LS1 tails red and then hit them with VHT only lightly...then I got some LT1 tails. I like the LT1s a lot better and haven't smoked them yet, I may just keep em stock. I've got a black smooth berger panel anyways now.
