Need T-Top!!

Need T-Top!! Hey i am lookin for a T-Top for a 99 Trans am..My brothers T-top flew off while he was driving down the road and shattered...Im looking for one for sale or what year would fit it if we can find one thats not a 99..Write me back asap..

this just happened to me. my driver side t-top flew off on the highway. i asked my mom what to do, and guess what? insurance covered it. see if your insurance covers it. i ordered it and the dumbass guy only ordered the glass. so there's an option if only the glass is broken, i think it was like 350 or something from gm. sure, doesnt sound cheap, but it is with a 100 dollar deductable. then it came in without a handle and lock, so now they have to order that once they actually got the order right. so im still waiting for mine, but there's a couple options. problem is with e-bay shipping costs.
i have a question also. when you get a t-top from gm, how do they know how to make the lock fit your key?? from the VIN?? or do they just make a universal lock for all replacements??

You didnt recently have your car worked on did you? When I lost mine, it was because a shop forgot to latch the passenger t-top. For some reason they unlatch them when they lift them. Just a suggestion if it happened like that they should pay for it.
