Well done, I'd match it with the SLP hood also. I definitely like the SLP firehawk hood, better than the ws6, but I'm still on the fence about liking the iroc spoiler. Great job replicating it none the less. If I had ordered a hawk in 2002, I would have fully optioned it out to 1LE with this spoiler included though.
What kind weight difference is there between the fiberglass and the carbon fiber version? Was it done more for aesthetics?

For the discount you'd have to order now. THEN if when it is ready to ship it doesn't look exactly like what is on the site now (the OEM pics) you can ask for your money back (just like we did with the LT1 bumper we only had photoshop pics of). HOWEVER, if it does look just like the OEM one but you, "wrecked your car, cat got cancer, etc..." in the meantime then it is the normal money returned with a 20% restocking fee at our discretion...

I'll need these two correct? Went ahead and got them, figure a new stop light would be better.

I'm glad to see people are going ahead and putting their orders in. It's nice to know that I could help Mark with getting this project rolling. As for the third brake light, it's from a Cadillac Catera. You can buy them new or go get them at your local pull-a-part. Also the CHMSL wiring harness isn't necessary. When I originally put mine in and wired it up, it wouldn't work. I called Joey at SLP and he told me to just flip the power and ground. It did the trick. That's all the harness does is flip the wires. So it's not "necessary" but it is only 10.00 for a plug and play harness so not a bad investment either. I hope that helps.

A documented firehawk will always be the real deal, and the clones will be clones. I don't think it hurts from that perspective. Casually someone, as in the uninformed car enthusiast, might see one or the other and consider both less unique.
I don't have an issue with cloned parts of unique production run cars. How many SS hoods, berger panels, and blackbird parts are copied? Plenty of non-WS6 cars running around with WS6 hoods too.

well not so much as it ruining the retail value of a true Firehawk w/ IROC spoiler. But just the spoiler itself. It was a rare item, I know if I had a Pontiac I would search for a OEM one, cause thats whay I want. Like when I put a SS spoiler on my car it will be OEM. I dont know thats how I am.

I think the whole reason Mark started producing them was because they were just about impossible to get a hold of. The original firehawk hood is getting hard to find too. I see them on ebay, with and without the grills for the nose and heat extractors, and unpainted they run up to $1800.
