It's been 5 years, never been pulled over for it and I still like it. I've wanted to do my Firebird but I'm afraid the installer might accidentally break the dashpad during install.

Just pull out the dashpad. I'm pretty sure it pops out after simply removing the a-pillars. Post pics of the tint if you could.

Those dashpads are like glass, the less it gets touched the better IMO lol. I don't want to pay $400 for spend time looking for a quality replacement.
