its a shame no one wants to step up , i dont need one but i wish these would get made as a just in case for people down the road. years from now

You have a 99 I wouldn't be surprised in the least if yours went bad eventually. Hard to justify purchasing something costly when you don't have currently have the problem. Heck I'm starting to see the very beginnings of bubbles starting on my 99's sail panel, so I know it needs replaced, but even then it's hard because of the cost of fixing it. Next summer won't be kind to my wallet...

What years had this issue? And what causes it?

Just curious and I know there are plenty of threads but I'm sure more than 1 person viewing this knows the answer.

What's the verdict on these? If they're dead then I might order a targa top instead & do it that way.

Sorry for not updating, I'm driving a couple hours south on Tuesday to work out a private label with a different company that makes it 100% in the US and has no minimum orders, so it is still a go...

Sweet! I've been on the fence on this but I would like to see them get made......and my roof is getting worse. If there was a weight savings I would be all over it.

They're reduced in price so there's cash savings to be had! I'm just glad they're still being made.

I wouldn't have thought there would be much weight reduction though considering fiberglass is pretty light anyway! unless you're doing away with the glass t-tops to make it a hard top.
