Air Conditioned Seats Just curious has anyone put these in a Trans Am or any car really. I am planning on getting my upholstery redone in my 99 Trans Am. Figured while I had it gutted I could maybe try to install this system. I plan to 2 tone the leather, and have the inner sections perforated for airflow.

Anyone ever done this before? How did it go? Anything crazy I should look out for? And how well do they work?

I have factory air conditioned seats in my 2011 Ram and just like that system it blows cabin air through them. It's nice once the truck is cooled off but when it's hot in the truck it just blows more hot air on you so I rarely remember to turn them on.
Looking at that PDF, it doesnt look like that system would do much of anything. Those fans, which look like small PC case fans are just sucking ambient air from a smallish ventilated slit on the rear of the seat. What make OEM cooled seats works so well, is the seats are plumbed with the AC ductwork and draw cold air from that.
