Sounds like he's going for the old-school "suede" look. I think it looks great on a '49 Merc, but questionable on a late model car.

LOL, I was just contemplating this the other day. My bug is primered, and I love it, but on a 4th gen? I doubt that would look good at all. I'd really love to see it though, or a flat black with black wheels and tinted windows. I think that would kick ***, but I'm not about to ruin my Zaino'd paint job to be the guinea pig!

well I have to repaint my car..I already have tinted windows and black ZR1's...I wrecked my car about 4 days ago and it's gonne be fixed on Monday to the following Monday and I don't wanna spend $2000 to paint it...I'd rather spend that on a new braking system..anyways, I wanted it to be a dark primered color and do some custom paint on the sides where my emblems used to go...kind of like the car was dead but now it's a ghost of some sort...??

I dno, when I think "primer" paint I think "civics" and other *** ugly cars whose owners can't afford a paint job. It just looks unfinished to me.

There is someone on the texas section that has a black primered camaro. Ive seen it out at the track and it looked good with his black ZR-1s. He has an ls1 but changed the front clip to the lt1 style. Sorry I cant remember his name.

That's pretty sweet. It might be the way it's sitting, but the front looks like it needs a drop.

It would look better completely blacked out, but I like it.
