Thanks! I m hoping people will tackle it, and not spend hundreds on a new light.

That worked awesome! I wish I would of known about this years ago when I replaced one of my lights with a used one from ebay. I still have the other one though so I can use it for a test run if I ever need to.

If you have a spare, id suggest trying it. It's so simple.

They are priced a little steep but if you really want a fresh pair they are out there.

$400 Vs. $5-$10 and 30 minutes of your time? close to 400 bucks could be spent much better then on tail lights. I saw that too and was like no F'in way.

I agree but I have seen a lot of rough looking tail lights out there. Not just the fading on the inside but scratches and scrapes on the outside. Just saying, they are available if someone wants a new pair to go with a resto or something like that. Personally, I got a bunch of free stuff from my buddy in return for removing his engine from his 98 formula parts car. Got tails, t-top glass, hatch struts and very good condition rear spring isolators. I might throw those tails on since they look a little better on the outside than mine do.

nice!

big pricey mods are nice to have but lil' things that clean up the overall appearance are my favorites.
