Default Just got menzena..

Well, got the menzerna kit (70.00) has shampoo, polish, glaze, & fmj
used it with a makita dual mode polisher.
subject.. 03 wedgewood blue ranger. 10k daily beater
i wax it in the summer (zaino) it's subjected to frequent drive through
car washes.
this was my first attempt at "powered" polishing
1. got rid of all swirl marks (i'm impressed )
2. goes on easy, seems to come off easy.
3. as for shine...looks good um, not sure it's better than zaino..
i thought zaino had better/higher gloss..
i did'nt have time to do a side by side on my truck.
will do a side by side on my black SS sometime this week..

Which polish did you use? Final Polish II

Did the FPII eliminate al of the swirls? I had to use intensive polish to rid mine fully of all the swirls. Nonetheless glad to hear your swirls are gone.

What color is the car? From what I understand FMJ wil be a darker/wetter gloss as compared to the brighter/more reflective gloss of Zaino, but again, I haven't used FMJ yet so i can't speak to it personally.

The kit is final polish 2. (i used the yellow pad in the hardware kit)(yes no swirls!)
wedgewood is a med/dark met blue that sort of looks purple in direct light
the darker/wetter gloss is close to how i would describe it.
my truck looks sweet, just different than what i remember about zaino
(hey, at least i won't have to put 12 coats on it to look good!)
i'm told fmj lasts for 6 months, good to know..

Let us know how well the FMJ stands up - I'm interested as well. I prefer the wetter/glossier look, but you are right, it is different.

Glad to hear you had the same great results I did using the yellow pad and menzerna polish.
