My body shop actually placed them back on for me when I got her back, but I preferred it this way. And seriously, everyone, thank you for the positive feed back. I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw a ZR1 with a their carbon fiber roofs for the first time and thought "now why doesn't my <insert f-body here> have that?" If I didn't want to hack apart my car, I'd get 6LE's carbon fiber targa top too. I'm lookin' to get some 17x10.5s and run 315s in the rear this weekend

that carbon fiber roof looks so amazing on the ZR1's, I'm really starting to regret buying the fiberglass targa instead of the carbon fiber one... but Ill survive lol. And I'm starting to kick myself about ever getting into 18" rims. I love how 315's look out back, but the price jump from 17's to 18's is crazy. I just spent $220per for 295's, when i've seen 315's for way cheaper in a 17. 315's for an 18 are all $300+ a piece... I'll pass

you have t-tops right? you don't have to hack up anything to use their targa top. I have mine on right now with the center bar still there. You really just have to remove the center bracket for the t-tops. That'd look good combined with the sail panel.

If they made TTMs in 18s without paying the custom price I'd probably have them. And something about having a targa top but still having that center t-bar section is slightly demeaning and disappointing. But that doesn't mean I won't consider it!

I feel the same way lol. Plans are to have the bar cut out within the next month or so. still need to get SFC's installed, and I need to find someone who can help with the fabrication work. But I've already figured out exactly how I plan to go about it. Shouldn't be too hard.
