Default "Last of the Breed" Badges

Looking for some pictures of T/As with Last of the Breed badges on them, either the factory ones or aftermarket.

I have these: http://emblempros.com/inc/sdetail/2043/1346 but Im thinking about swapping them out for one of these two:

- http://emblempros.com/inc/sdetail/2043/17363 or
- http://www.afterthoughtsauto.com/fir...ed-bradge.html Leaning toward these. should go well with my car

I like mine, but the black parts that come on them can at times look faded, in certain lighting, because of the material. sorry, no real close up shots, but here are some old ones...

I remember seeing that "faded" look you are referring to on another car with the same emblem. Have you thought about cleaning it really well and adding a layer of clear coat on top?

In what way are you afraid of messing it up? Does the faded area look better when it's wet?

I like the badge, but now I think its played out, and now looks kinda out of place IMO. under the hood is where I would put it, BTW James I like the 2nd badge the best.

Default Lotb

I love the black onyx LOTB emblems but I have a 97 TA. Technically, gen 4 is LOTB, right? Would it look stupid if I put them in my 97? What do you guys think?

This thread is from 2012. Might have better luck starting a new one.

I think the LOTB badges should only be used on the last year which is 2002.

I Agree, but for some reason I didn't put them on because I always thought they look added on.

My car is a 75th Anniversary Edition (75th year of Pontiac not Firebird) and it didn't come with the badges (they were a dealer add-on) and I don't want them on either.

Definitely agree if the badge is on the exterior of the car. Under the hood, I can see some avid fans using the badge on any 4th Gen Firebird.

That's what my gut was telling me, too. Thanks for your feedback.
