Default Best color to paint calipers?

Not sure if this should go here or in paint & body, or in suspension & brakes but
I'd just like some opinions on what color I should paint my calipers. I'm torn between silver, red, or a metallic type of orange.

Open to other suggestions to and posting pics would help out a lot.

Car is black 99 formula with silver C5 wheels.

Paint them the same color as the car. Mine are blue and my car is NBM, I think that looks the best.

Anything but on black, you just won't see it

I get a lot of **** for mine, which are yellow. My car is maroon. My rational is I like the way the new Corvette, which is maroon with yellow calipers, looks.

Cars black, yellow would look great!

If I keep my car white when ever I get it painted, I'm thinking of going blue on mine with either silver or black brackets, haven't gotten that far down the road yet but with your color and mine being black and white, any color would look good or at least better on yours than other colors out there.

I'm with him. Black with some chrome/stainless steel type lettering. It'll look subtle but clean

I can't find any pics of gunmetal. ^ sounds like it would look cool though.

Looks like I'm going with silver. Thanks for the feedback.

Yeah but when your stock is stained black, painting it back to stock silver is acceptable

That's completely false. And my stock calipers are black/grayish/cement (if that makes any sense) colored. I'd just like them to not look like **** and I don't have any money for an upgraded brake kit or even just new calipers.
