At least the videos are informative! Most people don't even bother to make/post video instructions... Nice touch.

Steering wheel is just in there for mock up. Its not even bolted in as you can tell. I needed it for measurements for my race column. It had a lt1 rearend bolted in the lcas and shocks. That was it for rear suspension. THe car was completely totaled in front and lost all of the front end parts. What you see there is what it came with. NOthing else.

...As if 1st gen F-bodies were any less of rattle-traps than 4th gen F-bodies when new. I am not impressed by GM F-body manufacturing quality for any years that it was produced, but I still like them.

I thought you were crazy for parting out a running car bc of a title issue, but I still can't believe you made more money in parts.

Yes, the first picture is at a scrap yard (note the trailer in the picture). The second is in a driveway, implying that it was at a scrap yard and he brought it home to use for parts.

Plus even if it is long gone it would be nice to know which car it was. If it was a LS1 car there were only 88 total hardtops made in the 4 year run (5 years if you count 1998). Someone is making a book on them, and we are trying to track down all cars that we don't have info on.

If it was a LT1 car it is not nearly as rare.

could be a camaro shell for all we know.... either way, since the fakehawk owning op doesn't want to man up and post the vin to prove us knowing Firehawk owners wrong... it is what it is...

^^^ Good for you, OP! Honestly, this thread has been proof positive that Camaros and Firebirds are some of the coolest cars owned by some of the most truculent, acerbic, and belligerent idiots.

It's your car, you paid for it, you did the work and that's all that matters.

Thanks for the informative videos. As my mom would say, "Drive your car in good health!"

Welcome to LS1Tech, a place where a member can take the time and effort to create an informative, instructional series of videos to benefit others out of the goodness of his heart, and in return receive a deluge of petty criticism and nearly total lack of appreciation from his peers.

As F-body owners, we should be working to build one another up, guys.

This is one of those rare instances where I'm almost ashamed to be a part of this forum and an F-body enthusiast because both associate me with some of you knuckleheads.
