Steve here's my opinion on what to do
I like the whole black vs. red scheme so:
keep the mirrors and door handles black
add a black billet grill in the front (I've seen one online for the LT1s somewhere)
+1000x on the rims and lowering comment (you already know)
add berger panel, it is sexy and matches color scheme
add nightshade to your turns and tail lights (I actually have a set of tinted LT1 tails collecting dust that I'd let go for a little money ..hmm)
all in all looks sweet, but the salad tossers have to go

IMO, the red tail lights look fine on a red car. If u are looking to go for a cheap route to drop your stance, cut half of a coil off of the front springs. Hose mod for the rear springs will help to offset the front drop fairly well. I'm sure I will catch some **** for recommending the above, but there are plenty of users on here that have ran or are currently running on cut stock springs with no issues. Just an option if u are planning on checking off a lot of the things mentioned already.

Thanks guys. I hate the salad ******** a lot to be honest.
I'm going to some subtle mods next week and will put up pictures after they're done.
What are good springs for LT1 cars? Nothing too expensive though. I've been conisidering one of Stranos handling packages with KYB shocks and 1.2 inch lowering springs.
Rims are down to deep dish ZR1s, C5DDn or powdercoated 10 spokes.
Thanks for input guys

call me crazy, but I think the rims that are on there now look great... when on a lowered car, in their original finish (non-painted)... and only the passenger side, since the direction of the rims faces forward, the right way. Unfortunately GM failed on the rim design and used the same direction on all of the rims. Had the drivers side been made so that they run towards the front of the car, then I'd REALLY like them. but even still, they look pretty good to me. I like them on my brothers 95, they go great with the colors on his car and it's lowered...

I say the obvious wheels and drop, then paint the door handles and mirrors red. Then do a black berger to break up the back end...OR if you're set on the red berger (I seem to remember you not wanting a black berger in another thread) do this for with your SS wing.
or even the "Hambergler" mod
