Default Lifting dash Pad -HELP

I've had this issue with my car since i've had it (about a year now) I honestly couldn't tell you if I bought the car like this or not. It hasn't gotten any worse...that I can notice and I look at it everyday lol. Is there anything I can do to fix this or spray on it to keep it from spreading god forbid it did decide to spread? Any tips or advice would be great!

I'd consider using something like a credit card and tucking it down on a warm Nevada afternoon. I need to get under my dash pad to chase a rattle, but I am resisting out of fear of cracking it. Chances are too good to crack it.

It doesnt tuck back under. it stays there just as it is. Its almost like the dash is now permanently in that position.
