The SS emblem is upside down...
Greets all,
Okay it is a little annoying and makes me wonder if the car was in a slight fender bender, but the darn passenger side "SS" is upside down and it has finally gotten to the point I need to ask how to remove and re-attach it?
Anyone have any idea how to safely remove and re-attach the "SS" emblem?
It is a NBM with the Black and Silver "SS" and you can tell it is upside down because the tops of the "S" are wider than the bottom portion...

I removed some emblems off my DODGE RAM the other day with fishing line. They came right off. Check with www.slponline.com they should have the emblems in stock.

Heat up ( but too much ) the area using a hair dryer, use some good dental floss to remove the emblems. There probably will be a small amount of adhesive left on the fender, you should be able to remove that with nappa or a good bug & tar remover.

Thanks a lot for the tips guys! I just got a set of "SS" emblems to replace the one on the passenger side from ebay...
Is this common though? I still think that there might have been a minor fender bender and they put the emblem on upside down at the body shop, although my wife seems to think it was a SLP/GM factory goof...

Thanks again, I have the new emblems on right side up... Now the SS is (emblem) perfect!
Although it is sort of scary how easy it was to take the "SS" emblem off of the fender...
I just peeled it off and used an adhesive remover to take off the adhesive from the back... But geez I just took the emblem off with my fingers with no effort at all...
